Isabel was born on the Australian mainland in Melbourne. Her father was Australian and her mother is Swiss. Her family is originally from Cairns in Australia. They lived in Cairns Australia. Alongside their sister Nina they went to schools that had students of different race and ethnicity. Isabel is currently living in Byron Bay NSW Australia. Isabel began acting in high school. She attended Queensland University of Technology in Queensland, as well as the Victoria College of Arts as well as Perdekamp Method Perdekamp. The agent who discovered her was in 2002.
